In order to be successful in life and business you need to have a powerful purpose… a driving force. Something that gets you out of bed in the morning and something that keeps you up late at night! It’s critical that this is in place before you try to build a business.
If you don’t have a driving force, you’ll find yourself coming home from work at night tired and wanting to watch TV rather than do your work on your business, write your blog posts, do your syndications and call your prospects.
If you aren’t having the success you feel you should be, then why not? I’d say it’s because your purpose isn’t compelling enough yet.
When you truly know your purpose, you become inspired and motivated and nothing can stand in your way. You’ll do anything to achieve that purpose and you begin a journey and mission to truly make a difference in the world.
If you’re one of the fortunate few you’ll be able to take that purpose and tie it in with your business to help people and to make money from. Your life takes on a totally different meaning and all of a sudden, work becomes play. You LOVE what you do and that passion fuels the fire.
One of the best ways to define what your purpose is is to take time to sit down and think about what you want out of your life? Why are you doing what you’re doing? What drives you, what motivates you, what excites you, and what fuels your fire?
Get your purpose aligned correctly and you become an UNSTOPPABLE force for good!
Here are some powerful questions to consider helping you begin to clarify YOUR life purpose and your reason why.
- Who are you deep down?
- What do you love and what makes your heart sing?
- When you are engaged in life and you are at your best, who are you being underneath what you are doing?
- What is your vision for yourself and what do you see possible?
- What are your values and principals that guide your life? (We discussed this part yesterday)
Many people are happy working 9-5 for their boss, being told what to do and when to do it. They do not realise that there is MORE to life outside work. There’s a whole world waiting for them. All they have to do is to take the time to think about what they were put on this planet for!
The world needs more leaders. The world needs more people with purpose and passion! You can be one of those people. Don’t let life pass you by…
Many people don’t have a reason WHY they’re doing what they’re doing… they just drift drift along in life and feel like they don’t have a true direction or home.
If you don’t have a clear purpose for your life and your business, then making money online is virtually impossible.
You may feel motivated for the first few weeks but then as problems come into your life and business, as you hit hurdles and challenges and you’re life gets overloaded you’ll get sidetracked, get bored and move on to something else which appears to be better and easier.
This is the road to failure…
It’s VERY easy to drift and not so easy to stick with something and master it!
Many people choose the easy path… which path will you choose?
The first thing you MUST decide on is WHY you are doing this? Why do you want to set up a business online or market your business? Why are you joining TSA and using the 3 Step Syndication System?
Focus on other people, not yourself. Yes… making money sounds like a great purpose but it’s NOT enough to carry you through.
Focus on the people which having money will allow you to help. Your family, other business owners, people with huge problems who you CAN help and teach.
If you are ONLY doing it for the money, then find another job because it’s NEVER enough.
Action Steps
- Answer the 5 questions I asked you above…
- Decide why you are doing this? What is the compelling reason for building a business and joining TSA?
- Write it down and read it EVERYDAY before you start work. Tap into the power of your purpose, visualize it and experience it fully.
When it gets tough and you feel you don’t have enough time to do your syndications and comment on people’s blogs for the week, or you are too tired or would rather watch the TV… take a moment to connect with your driving force. Think about those relationships you will be breaking.
To maintain your integrity is to follow up on pre planned arrangements and appointments and the TSA system and syndications is a pre planned agreement.
Remember, just one new relationship could unlock the door to millions! I’m serious… I’ve seen it happen before and it’s happened to me several times also.
Making that call or connection or reaching out to a fellow blogger called Dave Cook was responsible for me joining the TSA and ultimately becoming partners with Dave and Dawn! Here we are… and the rest is history
