Day 5 – Prepare Your Blog For Comments & Syndication

When your regular visitors and TSA tribe members visit your blog each week, they want to be able to comment, share, like, digg, rate your content as quickly and easily as possible.

Having a unique blog is important but at the same time, people love familiarity, and if they can’t find the share button, or can’t see how to comment on your blog, or it’s different to the other blogs they visit, they WON’T share or comment.

In the old TSA, we saw several members not getting as many comments and shares as most of the other members… when we analyzed it, it was because they were running blogs on different platforms, their social share buttons were in weird places and in order to comment, people had to sign in or do something strange, plus they had RUBBISH content

Now we’ve made the requirements uniform, so everyone knows where the comments and share buttons are! It makes it much easier to get more syndications and much easier for your visitors to do the same.

In the first video below, Kim shows you how to install and configure the Digg Digg plugin. This is ESSENTIAL to successful syndication and you’ll need to install it on your blog ASAP, if you haven’t done so already.

How to Install & Configure Digg Digg

How To Set Up &  Configure Comment Luv

The second essential sharing plugin you’ll need is Comment Luv… This is important because it allows the commentator to leave a link back to their latest blog post when they leave a comment.

There are 2 parts to this and chances are, you are MISSING one of the parts, even if you think you’ve got it set up correctly now… Make sure you watch the video below to learn exactly how to get this set up for MAXIMUM exposure.

How to Submit to Digg & StumbleUpon

If used correctly Digg & StumbleUpon can be responsible for 100′s or 1000′s of visitors to your blog or other people’s blog. One of the ways to ‘share’ your own and other people’s content is to submit it to these sites.

IMPORTANT – Make sure you ONLY submit GREAT content to these sites and not just every piece of content you come across. You’ll gain more leverage if someone else submits your content to these sites, but in some cases you might need to submit your content yourself, which will in turn encourage other people to vote and rate your content.

When you visit a tribe members blog, be sure to Digg and Stumble their post, by clicking on the buttons on the post. We’ll go into more detail about this when we get to Stage 3 training of Phase 2. We will then talk about Connect, Comment and Share in more detail.

Watch Kim’s video below, and integrate Digg and StumbleUpon into your daily syndication routine.

If you can make your blog more appealing, write FANTASTIC content, install and configure your share buttons and comments box and give your audience EXACTLY what they want to read, then you’ll become successful very quickly and will achieve much more results.

We’ll talk more about creating value added content and becoming a researcher and reporter over the next few days.

If you have any questions, feedback or just want to share your BIGGEST takeaways, please write a comment below as usual.

If you head on over to http://www.tsamastery.com/blog, and find a post you like, you can practice submitting and voting on Digg and StumbleUpon. Remember, as part of the 3 Step Syndication System, you are required to comment and share the TSA Mastery Blog each week to help us reach and IMPACT more people…

We can only do this with you, and we appreciate ALL you do 100% of the time!
